Occupational Therapist
Cassidy is from the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minored in Psychology at Grand Valley State University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Occupational Therapy at Huntington University. Cassidy is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, certified with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, and licensed through the state of South Carolina.
While in graduate school, Cassidy worked with children in the outpatient setting as well as the areas of aquatic therapy and hippotherapy. She also worked with adults in the inpatient rehabilitation setting and in the outpatient setting, specifically with individuals diagnosed with TBIs and spinal cord injuries. Cassidy has a special interest in sensory integration techniques and neurological disabilities. She is eager to further her learning through continuing education courses within the realm of pediatrics. She hopes to create a safe and fun environment for her clients to allow them to grow and develop.
In her spare time, Cassidy enjoys riding her horse, spending time with her cat, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She recently moved from Michigan and is excited to explore the Charleston area!
