Occupational Therapist
Deanna was born in Mexico City, Mexico before moving to Gainesville, VA. She received her bachelors degree in Health Sciences, as well as her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from James Madison University. While at JMU, Deanna assisted in organizing and leading a Parkinson’s Disease Neurowellness Exercise group and led pediatric community group programs. She also completed research on “considering service members military experience and quality of life to improve quality of care”.
Deanna enjoys working with children of all ages, having experience with a variety of diagnoses. She completed her fieldwork experiences in Charleston before moving to Norfolk, VA where she worked with military families in an outpatient pediatric setting. She is excited to return to the Charleston area and continue helping her families grow.
In her free time, Deanna enjoys traveling to Guatemala to visit family, spending time on the water, exploring the local area with her husband and golden retriever puppy, and crafting
