Lead Speech Language Pathologist
Haley is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist who received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Illinois State University. She is a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Haley recently moved to Charleston, from Chicago, where she worked in a variety of settings for over 8 years. During that time, she discovered her passion for working with children and their families. She is excited to continue her career as a lead speech-language pathologist in the Ladson office.
Haley has specialized training for the treatment of orofacial myofunctional disorders and feeding difficulties using the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding Program. She recently completed the Functional Assessment and Remediation of Tethered Oral Tissues and will be attending PROMPT training, which is a hands-on tactile-kinesthetic input approach to treating motor speech disorders in the fall. Haley has almost 9 years of experience working with infants to teenagers with receptive and expressive language delays, phonological disorders, seizure disorders, feeding difficulties, and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She cherishes the meaningful relationships that she develops with her clients and strives to help them reach their speech and language goals.
In her free time, Haley enjoys being outdoors and traveling to new places with her husband, John. She is especially looking forward to exploring Charleston and not shoveling snow in the winter.
