Speech Language Pathologist
Heather joined the Anderson TCT family in June, 2020 and serves as a Clinic Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders with experience in Tethered Oral Tissue Specialty (TOTs). She lives in Greenville, SC with her lovably tabby cat, Sandy, who enjoys going for walks on his harness and leash. In her spare time, Ms. Heather loves to swim, cook/bake, watch scary movies, do yoga and pilates, and go to amusement parks.
Heather graduated with her B.S. in Communication Sciences & Disorders and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. She has extensive experience working with a variety of ages and disorders in a plethora of settings including elementary school, acute care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, adult and pediatric outpatient rehabilitation clinics, travel therapy across Pennsylvania and Oklahoma, and assisted living facility. She participated in numerous Continuing Education Courses with a focus on adult and pediatric dysphagia, NICU feeding and swallowing, Vital Stimulation therapy, Tethered Oral Tissue Specialty (TOTs), Beckman Oral Motor, fluency, adult/pediatric neurodegenerative disorders, Autism, Cochlear Implants, and ethics. In 2019, Heather received the Award for Continuing Education (ACE Award) from ASHA for her dedication to post-graduate learning and course work completion. Ms. Heather strives to deliver compassionate, team-collaborative, evidence-based, and family centered services for all clients in the Upstate area!
