Speech Language Pathologist
Krissy graduated from the University of Arkansas- Fayetteville with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. She then received her Master’s degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences- Little Rock in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has worked for two years as an SLP for a pediatric therapy private practice in Springdale, AR before taking a job at Tri-County Therapy. Krissy is certified by the American Speech-Language Pathology and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Krissy is specially trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (SOS Approach), and Fiberoptic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). She is inspired and very passionate by this field of work and particularly enjoys working with children with articulation disorders, delayed language skills, pragmatic language disorders as well as feeding disorders. In her spare time, Krissy loves to read, travel, craft, bake and binge-watch Netflix.
