I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I developed a love for pediatrics at a young age through my family’s extensive involvement in Special Olympics.
I graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences where I also played NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball for 4 years. I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During physical therapy school, I completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program; the LEND program taught me the importance of family-centered care, interdisciplinary teamwork, and how to effectively engage with community stakeholders to promote evidence-based change. I also followed my passion for global health and I traveled to Belize, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico to foster sustainable public health programs.
I completed clinical rotations in inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings where I treated children with various orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, I gained exposure in several multidisciplinary clinics including Cystic Fibrosis, Oncology, Spina Bifida, Neuromuscular Disorders, New Born Follow-Up, and Rheumatology clinic.
As a physical therapist, I embrace optimizing movement and function of children to promote a lifetime of meaningful participation. I am dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of the children and families with whom I collaborate! In my free time I enjoy running, spending time at the beach, live music, and traveling.
