Speech Language Pathologist- CF
Kristen is a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University’s Speech Language Pathology program. Before earning her Master’s degree, she studied at Clemson University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Psychology. She has been interested in working as a pediatric speech language pathologist since high school and is excited to finally start her career. She is a current member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. In her graduate practicum, Kristen gained experience with a multitude of diagnoses in a variety of pediatric settings, including outpatient clinics and schools. She has experience in the following clinical areas: expressive and receptive language, social and cognitive aspects of communication, articulation and phonology, voice and resonance, fluency, aural habilitation, and augmentative and alternative communication. She enjoys creating individualized therapy plans and building connections with her patients and their families. Outside of work, Kristen spends most of her time with her friends and family. She has lived in Charleston since she was a toddler and appreciates being near the water, whether lounging at the beach or cruising in the boat. She also enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and running.
