Speech Language Pathologist
Moffett is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist from Richmond, VA. She is a recent graduate from the University of Virginia where she earned a M.Ed. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Prior to attending graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology, she attended the College of Charleston where she earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education followed by a M.Ed. in Literacy Education from the Citadel. Moffett taught kindergarten in Berkeley County for six years. She is very excited about her return to Charleston!
Moffett is a current member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. In her graduate practicums, Moffett gained experience with a multitude of diagnoses in a variety of pediatric settings including outpatient clinics and schools. She has experience in the following clinical areas: expressive and receptive language, social and cognitive aspects of communication, articulation and phonology, voice and resonance, fluency, autism spectrum disorder, and augmentative and alternative communication. Moffett continues to enjoy sharing her passion for literacy and learning with her clients! In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
