Kaitlin Cortese was born and raised in Columbus, OH. She attended West Virginia University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance prior to earning her Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy.
Kaitlin decided to pursue a career in occupational therapy in order to combine her passion for working with children with creativity. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of diagnoses in the pediatric population across a variety of settings, including: outpatient, early-intervention, and school-based settings. Kaitlin has a particular interest in understanding and treating children with sensory processing delays and feeding difficulties and is a trained therapist in the SOS approach to feeding.
In her spare time, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her husband, Pete, while exploring Charleston, trying new restaurants, and playing with their dog, Bella.
