Sorting Bear Cups
Sorting Bear Cups are great for development in all areas!
Speech/Articulation: The Sorting Bear Cups are great for earning bears or playing games as reinforcement during articulation activities.
Language: Color recognition, matching, sorting, same/different concept, and using the bears to teach spatial concepts (in, out, on, front, behind, under) are all ways this toy can enhance language skills.
Fine Motor/Visual Motor: Grasping and releasing, pincer grasp, pouring, and using tongs to grab bears to increase hand strength as well as strengthen fine and visual motor skills.
Sensory: Put bears in a sensory bin of rice or beans, or put them in shaving cream and wash them to heighten sensory awareness.
Gross Motor: There are many gross motor activities that can be played with Sorting Bear Cups. Place bears across the room and have the child retrieve a bear and walk/skip/jump to the appropriate cup, hop over cups, or stand to squat position to place bears in cup. You could create a relay race and put the bears on a spoon while walking across the room and maintaining balance and coordination to the final destination of the appropriate cup.
