Physical Therapist
Mikaela recently relocated to South Carolina from Buffalo, New York, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University at Buffalo in 2018.
She has spent the past eight years working as a home-based Early Intervention physical therapist and has special interests in neurological rehabilitation, gait training, and reflex integration. Mikaela has completed advanced training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), orthotics, and primitive reflex integration, which she incorporates into her daily practice. She also has experience providing school-based physical therapy and enjoys creating engaging, play-based activities that help children improve their balance, coordination, and overall motor skills.
Outside of work, Mikaela enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, Remi, exploring new cities, and hosting competitive game nights with friends. During football season, you’ll find her cheering on her favorite team, the Buffalo Bills. She’s excited to put down roots in Upstate South Carolina and serve families in her new community.
