Occupational Therapist
Alexis graduated occupational therapy school from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2018. After graduating, she has worked in a pediatric setting in schools and outpatient clinics. She enjoys working with children of all ages with picky eating, fine motor, visual motor, emotional regulation, sensory integration, handwriting, and attention, self-care and more. She has certifications in the Learning without Tears program, DIR Floortime (Basic), Mealtime Miseries, and Constraint Induced Movement Therapy. She is originally from Rapid City, South Dakota but moved to Birmingham, Alabama to pursue occupational therapy. She enjoys taking care of her 2 dogs, playing volleyball or basketball and spending time with my family. She is married to her husband, Tyler, and shares the same anniversary as her parents and Tyler’s grandparents. Her love for occupational therapy was passed down from her grandmother, who was also a pediatric occupational therapist
