Alissa Witzell, SLP-CF

Alissa earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2020 and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from William Paterson University in 2026. During graduate school, she completed an externship at 1st Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey, where she worked with students ages 3–21 with developmental disabilities and genetic conditions, gaining hands-on experience in pediatric dysphagia and AAC implementation. She completed her final externship diagnosing and treating individuals across the lifespan with voice, feeding, articulation, fluency, and cognitive-linguistic needs.

Alissa is passionate about helping children and their families navigate their communication and feeding journeys with confidence.

Originally from New Jersey, Alissa recently moved to Charleston to complete her Clinical Fellowship at Tri-County Therapy. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys relaxing at the beach with a good book, going on walks, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops!
