Automoblox
Automoblox are wooden cars that are great for development in all areas and recommended for ages 3 and up. They come in regular or mini sized and are interconnectable/changeable with other Automobloxs. These help to encourage imaginative play are built to last!
Fine motor/visual motor: Great for in-hand manipulation, visual-spatial and visual motor coordination, matching, bilateral motor coordination, crossing midline.
Gross motor: Easily incorporated into any obstacle course, lying prone on the floor, therapy ball activities- prone walk outs, sit-ups, tunnels and scooter board activities.
Problem solving: Kids must put the wheels and wooden pieces on correctly for them to roll.
Sensory: Pieces can be placed in dry sensory bins, tactile perception – “feel for a wheel/circle”. (hide pieces in a non-clear container or sack and have the kids reach in and feel for specific pieces.
Language: Help promote and develop turn taking, colors, requesting, actions, labeling, shapes, counting, descriptive words.
