Occupational Therapist
Elise is from Leesburg, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in nutrition and exercise from Virginia Tech, and then went on to graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. During her clinical experiences at VCU, she worked with children with complex medical conditions in a unique intensive therapy setting. She gained experience in the use of specialized therapy equipment including UEU (universal exercise unit), RTI Xcite (functional ESTIM), and Galileo vibration training. She also has experience with modified constraint-induced movement therapy and reflex integration. Elise is excited to continue her occupational therapy journey at TCT, working with children and families to help reach their goals! In her free time, Elise enjoys hiking, kayaking, sailboat racing with her dad, and DIY home projects.
