Occupational Therapist
Kieran was born in Long Island, New York before moving to Merritt Island, Florida. In 2019, she graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. She then took a gap year and was a clinical research coordinator working on clinical trials that researched Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. She then attended the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where she graduated in August 2022 with high honors and received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. At graduation she received the Outstanding Occupational Therapy Student award for her class.
Kieran developed a passion for occupational therapy while working with the pediatric population in her job shadowing opportunities prior to graduate school. She enjoys working with children of all ages with varying diagnoses. In the summer of 2022, she completed her fieldwork experience in Charleston where she fell in love with the Lowcountry and wanted to relocate here to start her career as a pediatric occupational therapist. Kieran’s goal as a pediatric occupational therapist is to work with children and their families to find hope and tools to help them succeed in the present and in their future.
In her free time, Kieran enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in church activities, going to the beach, enjoying time on the water, and exploring new places.
