Lauren Dugan

Lauren Dugan, MCD, CCC- SLP

Lauren is a proud South Carolina native who grew up in the Upstate and has happily called Charleston home for over 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the College of Charleston and went on to receive her Master of Communication Disorders from the University of South Carolina.

Lauren has been a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2013 and is licensed by the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She is passionate about working with children of all ages in community-based settings and brings extensive experience supporting children with articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental disabilities.

Outside of her professional work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two children in Mount Pleasant. Their family loves making the most of the Lowcountry’s natural beauty—whether hiking, kayaking, or their latest adventure: fossil and shark tooth hunting. They also share a love of travel, especially exploring the incredible landscapes of the U.S. National Park system.
