Marissa Kern

Occupational Therapist

Marissa Kern, OTR/L

Marissa is from Long Island, New York and recently moved to the Charleston area .She graduated in 2020 from Touro University in Bay Shore, NY with her Bachelors in Health Sciences and Masters in Occupational Therapy. After graduating she has worked in various preschool through high school settings and in pediatric outpatient clinics. While working in these settings she gained experience with a variety of diagnoses including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disorders. Her favorite part of being a pediatric therapist is being creative and incorporating children’s interests to have fun! She is very excited to continue her career with Tri-County Therapy and to work together with families and other therapists to help children achieve their goals.

In her free time she likes to read, discover new coffee shops, go to the gym and be a foodie with her husband and try new restaurants.
