Rebecca Dugas

Rebecca has earned her Master of Science degree in Speech- Language Pathology from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Originally from Rhode Island, she recently relocated to Charleston to complete her final externship of her masters program.

Rebecca has experience working with children in the school setting and is passionate about helping children develop the communication skills needed to thrive at home, in school, and within their communities. She has worked with children with articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, social communication disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental delays. Rebecca also has experience supporting children who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and enjoys helping children find effective ways to communicate. She enjoys creating individualized, engaging therapy activities that help children build confidence and reach their communication goals.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
