Speech Language Pathologist
Sara Grigsby, SLP
Sara is a licensed speech-language pathologist and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communicative disorders from the University of Alabama and her Master of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University. She is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and spent time working in Chicago, IL before she moved to Charleston.
Sara has clinical experience in the therapeutic day school, acute care hospital, tele-therapy, and outpatient clinic settings. She is passionate about working with the pediatric population, and has experience working with children with expressive/receptive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental delays.
In her free time, she enjoys anything that keeps her outside and/or active, such as camping, running, rock climbing, and dancing. She has a big appreciation for art, and often likes to relax by sketching or painting in her sketchbook.
