Seek A Boo is great for development in all areas!
Speech/Articulation: Have your child imitate different sounds within pictures, and take a turn after practicing target sounds aloud.
Language: This toy is great for language development. Utilizing vocabulary words, descriptive concepts, object functions, actions, colors, categories, following directions, matching, yes/no questions, wh-questions, counting, turn-taking, and requesting will help your child practice language skills. To create a fun matching game, place the cards around the room and encourage your child to find two that are the same.
Fine Motor/Visual Motor: Your child can use the pincer grasp or, for more fun, use squigz or a sticky hand toy to pick up the cards. Seek a Boo is also great for visual perception and matching.
Sensory: Take turns doing proprioceptive activities (jumping jacks, wall push ups, etc.) to increase attention between turns to enhance sensory development.
Gross Motor: Place the cards around the room to encourage walking and standing/squatting to pick up cards.
