Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Zoë Kanas was born and raised in a small Northern California town, and relocated to Greenville with her family in 2020. In 2023, she graduated Greenville Technical College with her A.A.S. in OT. Originally, she had planned on working in adult orthopedics and rehabilitation, but developed a love for working in pediatrics during her clinical rotations. During fieldwork, Zoë gained experience working with a wide variety of mental health conditions, feeding difficulties/ARFID, Autism, ADHD, CP, and learning disabilities such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. Zoë is passionate about helping each child discover fun, functional, and meaningful ways to manage their unique sensory needs. With experience navigating her own sensory processing difficulties, along with an ADHD diagnosis in her late teens, Zoë advocates for the empowerment and understanding of neurodivergent individuals.
When not in the clinic, Zoë can be found listening to her favorite music, making jewelry, reading, crocheting, and painting. She enjoys taking walks outdoors, seeing new places, and watching live theatre.
