Adaptive Equipment includes various types of equipment that provide assistance in activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living to a person with a disability to allow a higher level of independence. Tri-County Therapy’s Physical Therapy team will work with your pediatrician and durable medical equipment provider to ensure your child has adequate equipment needed. This includes wheelchairs, walkers, braces, standers, activity chairs, bath chairs, beds, etc.
