Occupational Therapist
Carlen earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the South Carolina Occupational Therapy Association (SCOTA) and is certified in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding and Interactive Metronome. In addition, Carlen has experience with aquatic therapy, play therapy, recreational therapy and hippo therapy.
Carlen graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Recreational Therapy. Carlen previously worked in Pediatric Psych and has extensive experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Carlen is especially passionate about working with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder and feeding disorders.
Carlen is married to her husband, Jaye. She enjoys spending time with him and their dog, Bo, and her family. In the summertime, you can find Carlen with her family at Lake Hartwell every weekend!
